3 SESSIONS CONFIRMED

As we wait for the last of our panelists to confirm, we are very pleased to share details of the first 3 sessions from the HI Design MEA 2018 Seminar Programme:

Our Monday morning session starts the two main business days with a detailed project landscape as a backdrop to the whole event. Philip Wooller, STR’s Area Director for the Middle East and Africa is the man with the facts and figures and the hotel industry experience to bring the data to life.

Monday afternoon kicks off with our Keynote Seminar. With MEA’s hotel interiors being such a spellbinding showcase for the world’s best hotel interior designers, there is no shortage of talent out there to choose from. When that talent comes with such modesty and personability, however, our task becomes a little easier. Jesper Godsk, Founding Partner and CEO of LW Design Group (Top image) is our Keynote Speaker this year. Winning trust with developers and owners since founding LW Design in 1999, Jesper has been involved in some of the region’s most iconic hotels. Hear from Jesper in conversation with seminar programmer and host Guy Dittrich as he recalls the development of the Middle East hotelscape and looks to the future of hospitality design.

Just as coffee starts to work its magic on your brains, Tuesday morning starts with something a little leftfield. As a group very much occupied by the creation of spaces and things within, we felt you might like a session that explores how to use those creative brains of yours. Science Journalist, Caroline Williams(Bottom image) is on a quest to find out how to get the best out of our brains. That quest has taken her round the laboratories of some of the world’s top neuroscientists where she’s undergone a thorough probing to see if any of them can make her brain work better! She’s come back with some stuff that we think you’ll find very stimulating and should get your brains working before the meetings kick-off again.

Our Tuesday afternoon session, the panel, is almost complete so bear with us as our final panelists confirm.

You’ll find more details on the Seminar Programme here. Meanwhile, if you have any Seminar questions at all, please get in touch with Guy.
